Thimphu tshechu festival are held in auspicious day last up to four days and mask dance are common rituals. This festival is held in all district in the honor of guru Rimpoche.Tshechu are celebrated every year in order to promote culture of Bhutanese
Behind the scence, The monks are well prepared before week ahead of festival. People dresses in colourful gho and Kira carried their own pack lunch in their traditional bamboo basket and participated all day in Tshechu celebrations. Monks profomed the spacial maskdance grabbing all people attention on it.
We Bhutanese believed that watching these mystical dances is important to gain enlightenment. Even took place after the His Mejestry speech. All the Bhutanese from different places participated enthusiasmly. It is kept as important annual affair where Bhutanese believed it a blessing to be able to watch the dances. In the same hand community dancer also participated on it.
After celebration of fourth day. The Tshechu are no more celebrated and its end with thankful speech by his mejestry the king. Therefore, Bhutanes Believed Tshechu are important event derived from oral history tradition where Bhutanese promote and maintain the culture of Bhutan
